Why a Black Country lawyer wants domestic abuse to be a talking point.

Listen now!

It’s not a subject most people want to discuss but Black Country lawyer Richard Port believes it is one we should be talking about. The subject is domestic abuse which can range from physical abuse to checking on social media accounts and alienating victims from family and friends.  Richard says the more the issue is out in the open, the less opportunities for perpetrators. Richard was awarded an MBE for his work with victims and heads the family law department in their Cradley Heath office George Green solicitors which has offices in Cradley Heath, Wolverhampton and Sutton Coldfield. In this episode of FTM he explains what domestic abuse means and how his deep dislike of bullies led to him working in this field.
